Seller workflow

One photo shoot, multiple marketplaces

Cross-listing gets easier when you separate capture, organization, and destination exports instead of re-editing the same files over and over.

1. Create one product folder

Use a folder named after the product, inventory identifier, or SKU. Inside it, keep your untouched source images. This becomes the permanent master set for that listing.

2. Decide the photo order once

Choose the strongest overall image as photo 01. Follow it with the next most useful views: alternate angle, back, sides, labels, accessories, details, and flaws. If you decide this sequence before creating marketplace copies, the same image order can follow the product everywhere.

3. Rename only the copies

Camera filenames such as IMG_4832 are not useful when you are managing dozens of listings. On export, a clean base such as vintage-casio-watch-01.jpg makes the batch much easier to identify. Keep the original camera filenames untouched in your master folder if you want a pristine source archive.

4. Generate destination versions

Each marketplace can receive its own resized and compressed copy. If one destination prefers a different canvas shape, create that version from the same master rather than using another marketplace's copy as the source.

5. Keep destination folders separate

A simple export structure prevents mistakes:

Product → eBay / Etsy / Poshmark / Mercari / Facebook / Shopify

That structure makes it obvious which files belong to which listing process and lets you archive or resend one destination without touching the others.

6. Review before publishing

Automation removes repetitive editing, but the final listing still deserves a quick human review. Confirm the hero image is first, the product is not cropped incorrectly, colors look reasonable, and any important defect photo is present.

Where SellerPic fits

SellerPic automates steps three through five: choose the marketplaces, optionally rename the files, generate optimized destination copies, and download one organized ZIP. You keep control of the source photos and listing decisions.
